Why I work for JAAG?
Growing up in France, I was taught to be careful with my data online. That instigated curiosity and cautiousness towards digital systems. However technology is moving very rapidly, not allowing us to pause and reflect on the changes they bring to society. We should not accept digital systems by default without considering their impact on our everyday life and our mental health. Being a parent to 2 children has also put things into perspective. I was overwhelmed by children’s digital exposure from a very young age. People, all over the world seem to be accepting and sharing new technologies without considering the potential adverse effect they can have on young minds. I joined JAAG to raise awareness and help build a fair and safe future for the next generation.
