Why I work for JAAG?
I am passionate about sustainability. The IT sector has a big role to play, for better or worse, in future greenhouse gas emissions and the prospects for life on Earth. This role includes both direct emissions from electricity consumption and supply chain emissions; and the indirect effects that artificial intelligence has on human activity. It is vital that there is proper measurement of and accountability for emissions if the sector is to work to our net benefit. JAAG is well placed to lead work in this area.
